No matter what happens, God has always seen to it that what He has announced is always accomplished in the time He has determined. We are a people that God has brought into the reality of His plan. He is not the God of the past. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) We must live in our today.

God is not subject to our will, but He is free to do as He pleases. Every day that God gives you is a grace. "Sheol does not praise you, death does not praise you; those who have gone down into the pit no longer hope in your faithfulness. The living one, the living one, praises you, as I do this day" (Isaiah 38:18-19)

We have a goal to reach, no matter what the elements along the way. Think of the Syrian-Phoenician woman who persevered so that her child could be healed. Likewise the Shunammite woman who persevered in faith that God was able to raise her son from the dead. Her son was dead, but she kept the faith. What faith!

Simeon has seen his salvation, Jesus Christ. God, who created the heavens and the earth, had made a promise to Simeon. The people did not understand but Simeon knew what was happening before his eyes.

"(John 14:1) When we are troubled, it is because we have not paid close attention to what He has said. My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27). " They do not follow the voice of a stranger. God wants us to know Him. The rapture is not for everyone, it is for the elects.
