Our path is not made of flowers but of stones. This is the reproach of Christ! "I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you. "(John 14:18) We are persevering. God has given us faith to endure and we know that God hears us.
"If you ask anything in my name, I will do it. "(John 14:14) No matter how long it takes, God answers. We have passed from death to life because we love our brothers and sisters. When someone hurts you and you look for the positive, then you have passed from death to life. When you manage to pray for those who mistreat you, it is because God has done something in your life. "He who committed no sin, and in whose mouth was found no deceit; who when reviled did not revile, nor when abused did not threaten, but trusted in him who judges righteously" (1 Peter 2:22-23) "But you did not learn Christ in this way, if you heard him at all, and were taught in him according to the truth which is in Jesus to put off the old man, which is corrupted by deceitful lusts, in respect of your former life, and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and to put on the new man, created according to God in righteousness and holiness, which the truth produces. "(Ephesians 4:20-24) God wants us to be stripped because this man does not murmur but always seeks the positive. When you have that, you are at peace.
1 Corinthians 12:4-6; 11-14; 27-31 / 1 Corinthians 13
We place importance on the things we see. In his logic, man may think he knows God but God confuses men. God must teach us. God is wise, He knows what He is saying. "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied by your name? Have we not cast out demons by your name? And have we not done many miracles in your name? Then I will say to them openly, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you who commit iniquity. "(Matthew 7:22-23) You may say "I know" but we must always examine ourselves. But I deal harshly with my body and hold it in subjection, lest I myself should be rejected, after I have preached to others" (1 Corinthians 9:1). "(1 Corinthians 9:27) God does not look as a man looks. God is God, you can't put Him in a box. Let God speak, let Him teach you. When you do something because God said so and you feel forced, then it is useless because in your heart you did not want to do it. On the day of Pentecost, Peter did not say anything. It was the brothers and sisters who had the heart to put everything together. Evil thoughts may be in the hearts of pagans but not of Christians.
The divine love of God makes you patient, that is, it allows you to wait for the moment when God will answer you. You are no longer in a hurry. "Know that in the last days there will be difficult times. For men will be selfish, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, rebellious to their parents, ungrateful, irreligious, ..." (2 Timothy 3:1-2) Do not be envious of one another. Just because I have something doesn't mean I should feel superior. It is not the car or anything else that makes me superior to others. The most important thing is who you are. When you desire something, what do you desire that thing for? For what purpose? To show off? For your glory? Or for your brother or sister? What we have must belong to God. We must be hospitable. We will leave one day, we will take nothing with us!
