Every time we come to the house of God, God must be able to shake us up because He has a work to do with His people. Israel was identifiable as a different people because they had the mark of the covenant. God still marks a difference for His people. God wants those who are His to be seen differently.
John 3:1-7
These are the words of the Lord. We need to benefit from this salvation. We have known that there is a salvation through the Holy Scriptures. "You were at that time without Christ, deprived of the right of citizenship in Israel, strangers to the covenants of promise, without hope and without God in the world. "(Ephesians 2:12) The God of Israel has become our God. Israel knew this God, but we were Gentiles. They knew where man came from because God had spoken to them. God gives knowledge about everything concerning the creation of the earth. If God walks with you, be reassured. Men talk about the Big Bang, that we are descended from the ape, but God makes it clear how He made things. The world and its lust will pass away and must pass away but we hold on to the Word of God.
Genesis 3:22
Men have future plans to make man live forever like with the Neuralink chip implanted in the brain, but this will not be possible because the Word of God is unfailing. God has given only one way to have eternal life and it is not by science. One can even graft hearts into a man but this cannot allow him to live eternally because men have forgotten that man is first of all spiritual. When we speak of the heart, we speak of the spiritual heart. Our God is the creator of heaven and earth, the One who created space and time. Nothing can happen without Him allowing it. "For I am the Lord, I do not change" (Malachi 3:6) We are different from the world. There must be a difference between us and the world. God is ageless, He cannot grow old. He is so Almighty that He can stop old age in a body. Adam lived 930 years and still had children. And we today are limited by time. He could have lived to be even 1000 years old but God had said "the day you eat of it, you shall die. "(Genesis 2:17) "Before the Lord, one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day. "(2 Peter 3:8) It was a small day for God, so imagine eternity! Abraham was old, Sarah doubted, but God does the impossible. Our information comes from the Word of God. Everything is under His control. "You will seek me, and you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart. "(Jeremiah 29:13)
Nicodemus was a Pharisee. The Pharisees did not consider Jesus. He did not say "I, Nicodemus" but "we," so they all knew that Jesus was really a teacher from God. God who knows his own wants us to see the difference. In Genesis, we could not see anything, but when God said "Let there be light! And there was light. "(Genesis 1:3) There is a separation from the darkness.
Malachi 3:13-18
There was no difference between the righteous and the wicked, there was a mixture. But now the difference must be seen, it must be manifested. They called Him Beelzebul, but deep down they knew that this Jesus was from God. Let us take care of our Father's business and our Father will take care of us. There are many so-called believers, who do not serve God. We need to know whose side we are on? When the Pharisees sent the guard to get Jesus, they returned without Him. "Never has a man spoken like this man. "(John 7:46) When we hear Jesus speak, He touches our hearts. Everyone accuses Him but He never accuses anyone. Men press you down but He never presses you down. "Woman, where are those who accused you? "(John 8:10) He did not come to accuse but to save.
Ephesians 2:1-3
We need to change the way we do things. We hear the Word, but it's always the same. We really need to ask ourselves who we are. Judge yourself by the Word of God, not by others. "I came forth naked from my mother's womb, and naked I shall return to the earth's bosom. "(Job 1:21) Let's think about this a little. Everything we have on earth was given to us for the earth. We will not take anything to heaven. We must prepare ourselves in the right way. This earth is destined for fire. Men can do whatever they want but it will go to the fire. The Word of God will be fulfilled. We owe a lot of respect to the Word of God. God speaks to you but you are stubborn. All the Pharisees condemned the adulteress, but our God is rich in kindness and mercy. God loves the hearts that love Him. God cannot force you to love Him. But everyone must realize the grace that God offers them. Those men were right to condemn her, it was the law of Moses. This Jesus who died on the cross, He suffered. You can't even imagine. What did this Jesus do to deserve this? Christ did not die for Him but for you and me. We know why we sit in this place. This woman was condemned and those men were right because she had done the wrong thing. God shows us the look that God has for us and the look that we should have for others. We must always ask ourselves, "What if it were me?" "Why do you see the chaff in your brother's eye and not the beam in your own eye? "(Matthew 7:3) There has to be something going on in all of us. What was your deepest motivation when you came to the house of God this morning?
The woman also knew that these men were right. She knew that there was no one who could come and set her free because the law of Moses was given by God. These men had the desire to show that this Jesus was a fake. They wanted to bring her to Jesus to trap Him, so that He would admit that what Moses said was the strict truth. See how religion can blind you! You can have the Word with you, but when pride comes, when suspicion comes, you are no longer in the thing. These men were blinded by the religious spirit. When you are distracted when God speaks, the seed cannot fall in you. When you are distracted, there is a problem in you. People suffer because they want to hear and receive the Truth. But you, you hear it and you refuse it, you will be judged more severely. God takes the time with you to speak to you, to teach you and you refuse, you turn a blind eye. What you hear is a judgment for you. Always God comes first in all things.
The woman was condemnable and she knew it. These men wanted to show that this Jesus was not of God. This is the spirit of blindness, God can do miracles in front of your eyes and you don't see it. They did not ask themselves where this Jesus came from. Philip did not embrace just anyone. "We have found him of whom Moses wrote in the law and of whom the prophets spoke, Jesus of Nazareth, son of Joseph. Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good come from Nazareth? Philip answered him, "Come and see. (John 1:45-46) This Jesus came according to the Scriptures. Jesus was not like all the others. Bartimaeus too had recognized Him. "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! "(Luke 18:38) We cannot listen to just anyone. For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if it were possible, even the elect" (Matthew 24:24). "We have the victory over all these things. "To him who overcomes" (Revelation 2:26) "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. Moses, in the law, commanded us to stone such women: you then, what do you say? "(John 8:4-5) Jesus has extraordinary wisdom. With Jesus, we have found happiness.
Matthew 19:1-6 / Genesis 2:15-24
Jesus always comes back to the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is our absolute. We must not choose our spouses with our carnal eyes but always with spiritual eyes. It is not good for man to be alone. It was not Eve who courted Adam. Adam was not interested in that but it was God who found that he was not good. God is to be expected. It is God who unites, not men. It is God who has the plan and Adam didn't even know. Adam was just dealing with the things of God. When time for you to marry came, God arranged the time in His own way. Such a union, there is no one who can disunite it. We are talking about the first Adam, and our Lord Jesus Christ is the last Adam. His Bride was given to Him by God, not by any denomination. We have not become the Bride but we have always been His Bride. Eve did not become but she always was Adam's Bride. "... I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. "(Matthew 16:18) Satan will always seek to fight the Word of God, the truth. Eve was not a stranger. It was God who brought the woman. Pray before you get married. In this area, be sincere with God. Let us be aware that before taking the act, we must pray a lot for it. In Genesis, it is Adam who speaks, but in Matthew, we are told that it is the Creator who spoke. Adam, the man had the mind of God because he expressed what God thought. The Creator was in the man. It is God who unites, how can you disunite that? Let us have respect for the things of God and let God do them. God can never seek evil for you.
Every seed must produce according to its kind. Every look you have on your brother or sister must change. The accuser is always the devil. We are saved by grace and we were among them. It is only the mercy of God.
Matthew 5:7
If you are not merciful, you can forget the mercy of God. That's judgment for you. You pray for God to speak to you. God comes to speak to you and you don't pay attention. What good does it do you? These men came with stones to stone her. "What are you saying? "(John 8:5) "Let him who is without sin among you cast a stone at her first. "(John 8:7) This, Moses did not say. He who spoke is the One who spoke to Moses! They had not seen this because they had religion. All of them dropped their stones. "Woman, where are those who accused you? Has no one condemned you? "(John 8:10) You who always like to point fingers, you do not see the evil in yourself. We need to sit back and think about ourselves. "Neither do I condemn you: go and sin no more. "(John 8:11) There was no one to save this woman, but when Jesus comes in the scene, everything becomes possible. You have to be careful when you preach because you are giving God to people. To communicate the life of God to others, you must first have received Him. A man of God, it is God who justifies him, who confirms the thing. "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. " (John 3:3) Everything you do is useless without the new birth. Without the new birth, you cannot understand the Word of God, nor can you enter into it because you are nowhere. That's why the new birth is important to you and me.
Ezekiel 36:23-27
You cannot love your brother and sister ardently if you have not experienced the new birth. God works, God cleanses man. The old man, God cannot use. The new man is merciful, he loves what God loves. This new man is a vessel in which God will tabernacle and he will obey the Word of God.
