God knows the hearts of men and the desire of each one. The Ethiopian eunuch was there in that place, but God saw him. He sent Philip to explain and speak to him. God sees and hears. "I have seen the suffering of my people who are in Egypt, and I have heard the cry of their oppressors, for I know their sorrows." (Exodus 3:7) Sometimes we think that God is insensitive to our situation.

"As a deer pants for streams of water, so my soul longs after you, O God!" (Psalm 42:1) Let this be deep within us! The Lord our God has truly loved us. "For we love him, because he first loved us" (1 John 4:19). We want to love Him with all our heart, with all our soul.

The world is covered in darkness but the light is rising on you. There must be a difference. You must be different. The light cannot also be darkness. "May you be cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:15-16) You can't be two-faced. You lie to yourself, you have to be sincere.

God speaks to us so that we may be instructed so that we do not pass through judgment. It is a house of correction. "Listen, Israel! The Lord our God is the only Lord. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." (Deuteronomy 6:4-5) Because they turned away from God, they went into exile. God wants His Word to be heeded. When we love the Lord, we have respect and consideration for His Word.

We are His flock. We are led, protected and fed by Him. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters." (Psalm 23:1-2) "Therefore we thank God continually that when you received the word of God, which we made known to you, you received it not as the word of men but, as it truly is, as the word of God, which works in you who believe." (1 Thessalonians 2:13) So we are partakers of what God is doing in our midst.

We want to be led by God, but we must also show Him that we want to be led. "For the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will shut your path." (Isaiah 52:12) We must move at God's pace, not as we want to. Our step must be firm.

"If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples; you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8: 31-32) We want to seek the direction God wants : Lord show us the way! We need Him every day because without Him we can do nothing.

We don't realize how much the Lord loves us. He cares for us and for what is dear to us: our children. The Lord knows your hearts and your questions, that's why He leads the man of God in a certain way to answer your questions. It is not the man who preaches, but God who speaks through the man. Have respect when the Word is preached.

That we may cling to His Word. From the beginning it has been a struggle. When Adam received the Word that God gave him, Satan did everything to turn him away from it. Even today, there is still a struggle between lies and truth.

God had commanded Saul through the prophet Samuel to kill all the Amalekites down to the infants. It was Samuel who had anointed Saul king. He became king simply because Samuel had anointed him. Saul experienced this. He saw the action the anointing had on him. Samuel, on behalf of the Lord, is going to tell him that he must go.

Our God is alive! "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) It is in Him that we place our trust. When you are sure of Him, then your faith hangs on more. We must have respect and fear for this God. He has never forsaken us. "The Lord is slow to anger and rich in lovingkindness" (Numbers 14:18) With Him, we have the certainty of achieving the purpose for which He has called us.

One day we will leave, but during the time of our life here on earth may we draw near to Him. "The Lord is not slow in fulfilling the promise, as some think, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but wanting all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

Every man is fallible but God is infallible. He forgets nothing. He neither slumbers nor sleeps. Every act you do for Him, God rewards you. Our God has a mouth and He speaks, He has eyes and He sees, He has ears and He hears. Our God loves His people and He cares for them. We live in glorious times.

The further we go, the clearer the light becomes. We have this need to be partakers of the divine nature. It is taking shape in us. We walk in the steps of the Lord with confidence.
