Your obedience

We thank the Lord for what He allows in our lives. "We know that all things work together for good of those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Romans 16:17-20

God watches over His people and wants His people to be kept in the way He has marked out. "For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, the flock that His hand leads" (Psalm 95:7) "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as in the time of rebellion." (Hebrews 3:15) "My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27) "They will not follow a stranger" (John 10:5) When you have recognized the Voice of the Lord, then there will come other voices to turn you away. "You, abide in the things which you have learned, and know them to be true, knowing from whom you have learned them" (2 Timothy 3:14)

Acts 20:20-30

The devil always works like this. The devil comes when the Word has been preached. The evil one always comes when the good seed has been sown. Satan wants to get you out of the way that God has put you in. In the Garden of Eden, it was the same thing. God told Adam the true thing but the serpent came to Eve and said "did God really say". The devil works in the mind.

Romans 16:19

God seeks your obedience. Satan is always pushing for you to disobey. God expects you to be zealous. In the things of God, there is no after. The things of God, you have to do them first. When the Word comes out, there is fighting. The struggle comes to put the Word of God into practice. God only understands His Word and what He has said, not anything else. When God sent Samuel to Saul, He said, "Thus says the Lord". He had been clear in what He said. But Saul looked with his human eyes, God will understand. Saul did what was good in his eyes. "I have kept the word of the Lord." (1 Samuel 15: 13)

1 Samuel 15:1-3 then 13-15

You always think that God will understand. But that is your thinking, not God's thinking. Never be your own preacher. Be obedient to what the Holy Spirit says in the Scriptures. You are not a prophet. God places His servants high. A son of God cannot rebel against a servant of God. A gift of God is for others, so when you recognize that your pastor is a man of God, then you have obedience. When you have respect for man, you have respect for God. To disobey Samuel was to disobey God. God placed respect in a son of God.

The anointing oil had fallen on Saul. David was the man after God's own heart. No matter what he may have done, God was not wrong. David did the wrong thing but through Bathsheba came Solomon. We can't judge God's choice. When Saul sought to kill David, David fled. A son of God can never blaspheme against the Holy Spirit because there is no forgiveness for you. In the wilderness, David went down to Saul's camp. There Saul, who hated David, lay before David. David had his sword in his hand, Saul before him at his feet. Even David's servants said to him, "God delivers your enemy into your hand today" (1 Samuel 26:8). Humanly speaking, we would have done that. You must never follow the crowd. When he cut off the cloak, David felt his heart beat, he remembered that Saul had been anointed by God. "Far be it from me, by the Lord! To lay hands on the Lord's anointed!" (1 Samuel 26:11) So you, how can you disrespect. No matter what your spiritual degree, it cannot come into you.

Romans 16:19-20

Satan will never have the victory over you: not today, not tomorrow, for you will crush him under your feet. Always work for the Lord, work for Him. Always good, never evil.
