"Redeem the time, for the days are evil." (Ephesians 5:16) At Pentecost, every day they were gathered in the evening around the Word. It was not a strain on them. We have a lot of leisure time today, but if we spent more time with the Lord, things would be different. We are also able to devote more time to the Lord in prayer.
The devil is cunning, he makes your thoughts turn to useless things. Satan is afraid that you will be able to devote much time to the Lord. But God wants us to always have the victory. We have the divine nature because God is our Father. "For to which of the angels did God ever say, 'You are my Son, I have begotten you this day'? And again, I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son? (Hebrews 1:5) "But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." (Romans 8:37) "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or hunger, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" (Romans 8:35) "In him God chose us before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him" (Ephesians 1:4) Yet we are conceived in iniquity, sold to sin, but He makes you holy and blameless! He makes the impossible possible, He is the Almighty. "And my righteous man shall live by faith" (Hebrews 10:38) "Now faith is a surety of things hoped for, a demonstration of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1) Faith does not come from you. It is a paradox, a man believes what he sees, but God makes you believe the impossible. Each of us is a miracle of God. "But to all who received him, to those who believe in his name, he gave the power to become children of God" (John 1:12)
John 3:1-10
If anyone believed in Jesus, he was excluded from the synagogue. He came by night because he was afraid of the Pharisees, of what they would say about him. Nicodemus and the Pharisees recognized who Jesus was, but they told the people not to believe in Him. This is a paradox! Man is naturally born of a father and a mother, so how could he be born again? Nicodemus did not understand, it was not possible. Of course, Nicodemus was right. Not everyone can believe and understand the Word of God. Moses or any other prophet had never said that. Nicodemus was a doctor, he had never heard that. "Do the word, and do not merely listen to it, deceiving yourselves with false reasoning. (James 1:22) Hearing the Word is good, but it must be put into practice. The Word of God is not for someone else, but it is for you to be born again. The Bible tells you "Love one another; as I have loved you, you also should love one another." (John 13:34) Then you say to yourself I must have love, but it is not that. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." (Matthew 22:37) It's when you do that that love for others shows itself. You can have human love, but with that love you cannot love God. You love the person because you see them. But you cannot love God whom you have not seen. If God had not come to us and poured Himself into us, we could not love Him. "For we love Him, because He first loved us." (1 John 4:19) You can love God because He has loved you. Fileo love is different from Agapao love. When Agapao love comes into you, then you become in love with God. Then comes also faith. When your heart has been given to the Lord, then you can also love the others. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And this is the second, which is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37-39) God's love makes you love the person who hates you. Humanly speaking, this is impossible.
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
As sons of God, we can never bring division anywhere. "Moreover, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is worthy of approval, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy, let this be the object of your thoughts." (Philippians 4:8) As long as you haven't received God, you remain wild. There is something missing. Every day we have to be ready. We have to fix every problem. Death can strike at any time. Get yourself in order. We must always be ready to go. "Owe no one anything, except to love one another" (Romans 13:8) The only debt I owe my brother is love. "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. (Romans 12:18) God is speaking to His people. A son of God cannot have a blockage in him. If you die with that blockage, where are you going to go? "Our Father who art in heaven! Hallowed be your name; your kingdom come; your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us" (Matthew 6:9-12). If you do not forgive, what message are you giving to God? In this state, can you have a blessing from God?
A son of God, whom God has worked, when someone hurts him, it may hurt him at the moment but after that it fades away. "Sanctify them with your truth: your word is truth. (John 17: 17) Every time you come into His House, God forgives you, shapes you.
Colossians 3:12
What is mercy?
Psalm 103:1-14
As He is, so must we be. Our insides must be changed.
Colossians 3:12-13
Even if someone does you wrong, never take revenge. Always do good, it is burning coals you put on the person's head. As sons of God, we must be born again. Through the preaching of the Word of God, God speaks to you and shows you what is wrong. God touches many things in our lives.
Revelation 19:7
It is the Lord who has given His Bride to clothe herself. As God's people, it is up to the Lord to teach you, to clothe you. "For the Lord your God is a jealous God among you." (Deuteronomy 6:15)
Exodus 20:2-5
God watches over those who are His. That's why He rebukes you. God does not want those who are His to be like the world. "Behold, obedience is better than sacrifice" (1 Samuel 15:22) It is good to be present but it is better to be obedient. "Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:22) The Bride of Christ is subject to Christ. How can you wives give orders to your husbands? The spiritual affects the natural. If you are subject to the Lord and God gives you a husband, you will also be subject to your husband. When you obey the Word of God, that is your strength. Let it happen, God will work!
