"By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:35) God gives us gratitude to Him but also to all those God has given us. We walk and support one another. Let us look after each other. We no longer live for ourselves but for the Lord and for those who have given themselves to the Lord.
"No longer shall any man teach his neighbor, nor any man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord. For all shall know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them" (Hebrews 8:11) "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23) "I remind you, brethren, of the gospel which I preached unto you, which ye received, and wherein ye abode, and whereby ye are saved, if ye hold fast the same as I preached unto you: otherwise ye would have believed in vain" (1 Corinthians 15:1-2) My desire is to be pleasing to God. God is not obliged to let you in, but I beg Him. "But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. (Genesis 6:8) But Noah held on to that and did everything to be a part of it. We must stop the charade, we must be sincere before God. There are names written in the Lamb's book of life that no one can take your name out of. We have to be sure already on this earth that we belong to God. Up there, it will be too late. "I rebuke and chasten all those I love. (Revelation 3:19) Gold is beaten to remove impurities. Job was under so much pressure that he could cry out, "But I know that my redeemer lives, and that he will rise last on the earth. When my skin is destroyed, he will arise; When I have no flesh, I will see God. I will see him, and he will be favorable to me; My eyes shall see him, and not the eyes of another; My soul shall long for him within me." (Job 19:25-27) God put him under pressure to bring out the best in Job. God couldn't do it with anyone else because there was no point. God has His way, we must let ourselves be sheared like sheep without claiming our rights.
1 Timothy 4:1
"And my people shall never again be in confusion. (Joel 2:27) But for that to happen, you must be one of His people.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18
To be one of His people, something must happen. To be His people, we have to be different. When God came to Moses, he said, "I have seen the suffering of my people in Egypt, and I have heard the cry of their oppressors; for I know their sorrows. (Exodus 3:7) This was not for the Egyptians but for the people of Israel.
"Where the body will be, there the eagles will gather." (Luke 17: 37) When you love the Word, your desire is to come into the House of God to hear the Word and to commune with your brothers and sisters. To be His people, you have to be different. The Jews were different from the Egyptians. Be clean but don't see like the world. God wants that when people look at you, they can say "she is well dressed but she is different". We have to see the difference. We are kind, good, respectful but also different because we are citizens of heaven. We must not be in customs and traditions like Christmas tree, Halloween, ... In everything we do, let's be identified with Christ! Let us be firm, we cannot accept everything. When the people of Israel came out of Egypt, there was not an Egyptian among them because God had made the promise to the people of Israel.
Before Isaac came, Abraham went to Hagar, his servant, to have a seed. Ishmael came. Later, Sarah asked Abraham to send Ishmael and the servant girl away. Abraham did this but God also took care of Ishmael and his offspring. When you are upright and righteous, you can leave quietly, God will take care of your offspring.
Satan cannot dominate. We cast out demons. Why always talk about demons, we are not afraid. David, a little boy, stands up before the giant: "You come against me with sword, spear and javelin, and I come against you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the army of Israel, whom you have insulted. Today the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will slay you and cut off your head; today I will give the dead bodies of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and to the animals of the earth. And all the earth shall know that Israel has a God." (1 Samuel 17:45-46) You need to know where you are going and who you are walking with!
When we are God's people, our habits are different. God has taken us out of the world so let's not be with the things of the world anymore.
