We are His flock. We are led, protected and fed by Him. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters." (Psalm 23:1-2) "Therefore we thank God continually that when you received the word of God, which we made known to you, you received it not as the word of men but, as it truly is, as the word of God, which works in you who believe." (1 Thessalonians 2:13) So we are partakers of what God is doing in our midst.
We must look to Him who is the finisher of faith. When we ask Him, we are certain that He hears us and therefore we are certain to have received what we ask. But as it is written, "These are things which eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have they entered into the heart of man, things which God has prepared for those who love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9). (1 Corinthians 2:9) The spiritual man judges everything because it is spiritually judged. We must remain in the spiritual realm.
God brings His work to completion. "For I have watched over my word, to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12) God watches over what He has said. "This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the world for a testimony to all nations. Then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14) The truth is only in Him. We are not attached to men but to Jesus Christ. All those who came from the Lord had to say "Thus says the Lord!" Why do we cling to this Bible?
There is no other book that is so widely read and translated in the whole world. In every book we read, there is an author and that author is a man. But the difference with other books is that the author of the Bible is not a man, but God Himself. How could God express Himself? Each author has first the thought and then he transcribes the thought that he had.
In every man, there is this deep desire to know this God. Every human being, at some point, has asked himself the question of the existence of God. Where do I come from? Where do the stars, the moon and the sun come from? Even if you believe in the big bang, you can ask yourself the question where does nothingness come from? How can something come from nothingness? When you see the diversity of trees, it is as if there was a gardener! The very nature transpires God From where does the air you breathe come? There must be the author somewhere ... The sun runs its course during the day, it follows its trajectory. GOD EXISTS!!!
Man has the taste buds to recognize and savor tastes. What God has done is extraordinary. "I praise you that I am such a wonderful creature. Your works are wonderful, and my soul knows it well." (Psalm 139:14) "When I see the heavens, the work of your hands, the moon and the stars, which you have created, what is man, that you remember him? And the son of man, that you care for him? (Psalm 8:3-4)
If I can call my brother brother and my sister sister, it is because He has made us a family. Sons and daughters of the living God. Some have said that man is descended from an ape, so all men are apes? Look at the folly of men. Human knowledge leads us to absurdities. Do not put your trust in science. Science tells us about human evolution. The monkey has evolved to man, but the evolution does not stop, how far will it go? Ask the question to the scientists... But in the Bible, we are told "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void: and there was darkness upon the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God moved upon the waters." (Genesis 1:1-2) You want to know the truth, don't go to college, just pick up the Bible. "Then God said, 'Let the earth bring forth vegetation, grass yielding seed, fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, and having in them their seed on the earth. And so it was. (Genesis 1:11) That's why we have a diversity of trees. Where do the seeds come from? Scientists do not know. It is God who created. Men took what already existed. We are taken for fools, but this is the wisdom of God.
Man goes into space to find a habitable planet. They are trying to show you today that the Bible has no value. You can have any technology, but you will never reach the value of the Bible. Find me a device that can predict the future? Satan is trying to inflate your human knowledge to stunt your faith. You, son of God, admire God, glorify Him. We have a privilege that you do not realize. Man created the spaceship to go to heaven but before that, Elijah went to heaven. What God does is perfect. With God, we are always up to date. We are told today that there is global warming, but before we were on this earth, God had already said: "while by the same word the heavens and the earth from now on are kept and reserved for fire, for the day of judgment and of destruction of ungodly men." (2 Peter 3:7) God speaks to us through His Word.
Today, you can forget everything, but never your phone. Satan has already got you. What's so special about the phone? Every seed produces its own kind. God made it to feed us properly. But today, progress makes that when we eat, we are sick.
The Bible should be our reference. Creation is an act of love. When God made the earth, it was so that you would be well, so that you would prosper. God created us to be happy. "Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the company of scoffers, but delights in the law of the LORD, and meditates on it day and night. He is like a tree planted by the stream of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and whose leaf does not wither; whatever he does he does well. (Psalm 1:1-3) It's so simple but man wants complicated things. You are killing yourself in studies for nothing. The real knowledge is the Word of God. It is God who gives man the ability. Have faith, be sure, do not be afraid to tell men that you believe in God: to believe in God is a greatness. The Christian walks with confidence because he knows what he is and that this is the truth. You know exactly where you come from! Man is perfect, God has thought of everything. God created me and He made me a son. When you create something, then it becomes a toy for you. But God created you to make you a son.
See the height of what God has done. The demons are afraid of you. Behind the smartphones, there are spirits. Dose with the use of your phones. "These are the signs that will follow those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; if they drink any deadly drink, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and the sick will be healed." (Mark 16:17-18) "You, on the other hand, are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people, that you may proclaim the virtues of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" (1 Peter 2:9) To cast out demons, you must be able to have the upper hand. A son of God is not someone who complains or moans all the time. We are men, we can have weaknesses, but Paul and Silas in prison, they were beaten but they praised God. The more they praised God, worshipped God, the situation changed. You, son of God, can change the situation!
2 Kings 4:1-7
"I have been young, I have grown old, and I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread. (Psalm 37:25) The grace that you have believed is also for your posterity. When you leave, God will continue to care for your children. All those for whom you mourn, God will do so. "Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and you will see it fulfilled." (Mark 11:24) In God's appointed time, God has given you what you have asked for.
Sometimes the man of God asks a question and you don't know why. The Samaritan woman had had several husbands but Jesus asked her to go and get her husband? Jesus knew the problem. This woman here had something at home. God is not going to use great things that you have. When you pray, don't expect God to do what you think he will do! God will surprise you. When God tells you something, do it to the fullest. The blessing that God wants to give is always great. You can't limit God. God will give you what you desire. Obedience to the Word of God is a grace. You are told something but you still argue. Elisha was a man but this woman obeyed.
Humanly speaking, she could not pour the little oil she had into all those vessels. It was impossible, but the woman obeyed. When she poured, she did not see what was happening. When God blesses us, we don't see very well what God is doing before our eyes. At the last vessel, the oil stops. Have respect for the servant of God. A man who serves God will not be your comrade. God can seize him at any moment and at that moment it is no longer the man but God in the man.
She did not stay at home with the vessels, but she came back to the man of God. God's plan was that this woman could sell the vessels to pay the debt.
2 Kings 4:8-17
When someone has done us good, you want God's blessing to rest on that person. "I tell you the truth, whenever you did these things to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did them to me. (Matthew 25:40) This woman had no children, but she did not complain. Elisha made the promise to her. The child was born, but some time later the child died. When the husband asked the wife if everything was all right, she answered "everything is fine". When you stand before a man of God, at some point, something changes and God shows him the condition you are in and what God is going to do! The God we serve is not historical but He is alive. God can hang a normal man and He makes him a god. He tells you the future and this is possible through the Word of God. He who gave you life, when you have a problem, you know where to go!
What do the Scriptures say? When you put the Bible into practice, the thing is accomplished. This Jesus we serve is alive. "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:20) Come and taste of this Jesus!
