The former rain and the latter rain - Part 3

Sunday, July 19,th 2020 -

We are ambassadors of Christ in this world. We have to let God work. God has to take away a lot of the things that we have stored up. We want God to attract more of those who are His. We come together so that God can work in us and we can draw near to Him. We have a very specific goal: We want to go with Him.

We must therefore abide by God's conditions. If you have the desire to go with Him, then you seek to fulfill His conditions.

Zechariah 10: 1

We have to understand the importance of this. We have seen that it is not the spring rain, but the late season rain. We are referring to the earth so therefore we must understand why the rain is necessary.

Joel 2:23

“Your God”, you cannot be a stranger but you have to know Him. He must have done something in your life. You must be sure of this God in whom you have placed your trust. The three Hebrews had their trust in this God because they had already tested Him, already experienced Him. Their fathers told them about leaving Egypt and walking in the desert. They had no water but the water came out of the rock. They had no bread, but the manna fell from heaven. They tested this God and they saw. Despite the disobedience of this people, the Lord is merciful. You too must know who He is. He is Good, Merciful. Moses had met Him in front of the burning bush, his life changed. He who was violent, impatient, he became patient and gentle. He saw it but didn't know what to say. So God said to him, “I am who I am. And he added, This is how you will answer the children of Israel, He who is called "I am" has sent me to you. "(Exodus 3:14) This is about the ever present. It's the same with you today, if He's ever come to your aid, it's not to abandon you now. Moses wanted to know how? “The Lord said to him again, Put your hand in your bosom. He put his hand in his bosom; then he withdrew it, and behold, his hand was covered with leprosy, white as snow. The LORD said, Put your hand back into your bosom. He put his hand back in his bosom; then he took it out of his bosom, and behold, it was again like his flesh. (Exodus 4: 6-7) God wanted to show him that He had changed his interior. When we come into His presence, even the trees turn green like Aaron’s staff that was dry, dry, dry, it has turned green again in the presence of God. Your life will never be the same again, you will be changed. Your interior which is different must come out of you. If God is for us, who will be against us? Satan can rise up, but he has already been defeated. The demons must be afraid of you. If you want to be a slave to Satan, this is your problem. Because there comes a time when our Lord claims us and in addition, He has already paid the price. He came to bring good news, to release freedom. Never again a slave. Satan is a liar. With us, he has the strength. When you died you went to hell but there is always a group that even as they came down there was always something different. He came down with the hope of seeing the One who was to come. These men were serious in their commitment, determined. “Now faith is a firm assurance of things that we hope for, a demonstration of those that we do not see. For having possessed it, the elders obtained favorable testimony. "(Hebrews 11: 1-2) This is what the Lord expects from you. They were not mistaken because one day their Redeemer stood there. God always has a plan. Neither angels nor demons could ever expect this. Adam came by the perfect will of God. As Adam fell, Satan believed he could rule over all men. The last Adam was of the same nature. Satan saw Him as a man, but He was the Almighty. When He approaches, the demons tremble. God does things simply to confuse the great of this world. The Pharisees called this Jesus, the Almighty, Beelzebub. “Philip met Nathanael, and said unto him, We have found him of whom Moses wrote in the law, and of whom the prophets spoke, Jesus of Nazareth, son of Joseph. "(John 1:45)" Nathanael said to him: Can anything good come from Nazareth? Philip answered him: Come and see. (John 1:46) God always does everything according to His Word. God cannot fail. He controls everything. He was not born in Galilee but in Bethlehem. “We know, moreover, that all things work together for the good of those who love God, of those who are called according to his design.” (Romans 8:28) The king ordered that everyone return to their hometown.

Even during the pains of childbirth, God takes care of you. The same hand that takes a child, that same child will come to seek consolation from the parent. The same hand could strike and then console. God's people facing the red sea murmured against Moses. If he was sent from God, wouldn't he have driven like that? We are like that. In front, the sea, and behind, Pharaoh and his army. God wanted to show the people who He was. God has His choice, He does and leads as He wills. We so want the pastor to do as we want him to. You think you are more spiritual than the pastor. In the dead end, God wants to show you that He is the Almighty. "And now, is it the favor of men that I desire, or that of God? Am I trying to please men? If I still pleased men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:10) Moses stood up. “The Lord said to Moses, Why these cries? Speak to the children of Israel, and let them walk. "(Exodus 14:15) Where the people could not see well, there was the continuity of the way because God opened the sea and we saw the way. You whisper all the time but the path is in front of you. God knows what He is doing with you. Hence the importance of knowing your God, of knowing His capacity. God has to do with you, you can't always live with the past. You have to meet Him and experience Him. When you are like that, no man can influence you. Abraham came with Isaac, son of the promise, to offer the sacrifice. Isaac was a real son, obedient and with respect. Daniel in the lion's den. All were rescued and saw the hand of God. God did not forsake them. Only you must love this God, know Him. “You will be hated by all because of my name; but he who endures to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 10:22) Things are happening slowly and you don't see. For a child of God, everything he does is by faith. We will even go to death by faith. Even in the pit, the lions were subjected to Daniel. We must rule over all things. “When your people go out to fight against their enemy, following the way which you have given them; if they address prayers to the Lord, and look to the city which you have chosen and to the house which I have built for your name, hear their prayers and their supplications from heaven, and uphold them right. (1 Kings 8: 44-45) Daniel knew this.

Joel 2:23

When God makes the promise, we know He is going to fulfill it. “But there is one thing, beloved, which you must not ignore, is that before the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. "(2 Peter 3: 8) This is the time appointed by God, it cannot be missed. “In the last days,” said God, “I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your young men will have visions, And your elders will have dreams. (Acts 2:17) God watched over His Word and you are still the same. You come with your reasoning and your thoughts. God is not in there. Rain is necessary, it must be our concern. God cannot deny you the rain. But what rain? The rain of the first and late seasons. It’s life coming back because of the rain. This is restoration. What has been devoured returns. The restoration, that is to say bringing the thing back to the origin. We have seen that the rain of spring is the rain of the first season. What is the rain of the first season for? And the one from the last season? The rain has something to do with the earth. After spring comes summer. Summer is the time of the heat. If we put the seed in the spring, if the heat comes, the seed will dry up. The rain falls to germinate the seed. There is the first shoot. There is the good seed and the tares. We want the rain to fall for the good seed. When the rain comes, it falls on both. Rain never changes the nature of the seed. “I will pour out of my Spirit on all flesh;” There will be false christs, false anointed ones. The anointing is not wrong because the rain has fallen, but they are wrong, the seed is not good. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty: there was darkness on the face of the deep, and the spirit of God moved over the waters. (Genesis 1: 1-2) When you are a son of God, the Bible is written in your heart. The rain is falling on the good and the bad. Each seed must produce after its kind.

Matthew 7: 21-23 / 2 Timothy 3: 1-7

The Lord is not looking for quantity but for quality. When God touches a person's heart, their whole being is transformed. To get to knowledge, you have to stay in His Word.

“If you remain true to my word, you are truly my disciples; then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. "(John 8: 31-32)

Matthew 13: 24-30

The rain of the first season comes to germinate the seed. The rain of the last season is significant.

Ephesians 4: 11-12

We must arrive at perfection. God is God. God created the Earth in 7 days, so the perfecting of the Church takes place in 7 ages. What is special about the last age? Why are you in Laodicea so important? Why is the Laodicean age so important? Because we are dealing with the rain of the last season. In this age, we must have the rain of the first and the last season. Everything is focused in this age, the Lord is coming back in this age. In all other ages the brethren would go away saying the Lord is coming soon, but in that age the Lord is coming again today. This is the most difficult age "For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets; they will do great wonders and miracles, to the point of seducing, if possible, even the elect. (Matthew 24:24) You have to be a chosen one to see this. We are pilgrims here, we are not at home. As when the people of Israel came out of Egypt, they took back the bones of Joseph. You have to be sure that this Jesus is coming again, you have to be convinced that the rapture is real. He is the One who walks in the midst of the 7 golden candlesticks. The Supreme Judge, the Supreme Authority. When He says it comes to pass. In Daniel, we see that all the beasts are found in the last. Things are falling into place. They closed the churches (building) but no one can close the Lord's Church. Since the attacks of September 11th 2001, everything is now under control. Justifying the fight against terrorism, we can know everything about you. “No one could buy or sell without having the mark, the name of the beast or the number of its name. "(Revelation 13:17).
