"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) So we are at peace, we who believe in Him. He cannot change. What He has done in the past, He is still doing today, so we are sure to get what He has promised us. He is the rewarder of faith. With Him everything becomes possible.
We still need our God because there is nothing on earth that can replace Him. God has given us something very important: faith. This is what Satan is fighting. Throughout his pilgrimage, the Christian will always be confronted with this: doubt and faith. "And the victory that overcomes the world is our faith. (1 John 5:4) It is by faith that we cast out demons. "Take the shield of faith above all else, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one" (Ephesians 6:16) "Resist him with a firm faith, knowing that the same sufferings are imposed on your brothers in the world." (1 Peter 5:9) "Without faith it is impossible to please him; for he who comes to God must believe that God exists and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him." (Hebrews 11:6) "By faith we know that the world was formed by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made of things that are visible." (Hebrews 11:3) "You believe that there is one God, you do well; the demons also believe, and they tremble." (James 2: 19) Let us consult the Holy Scriptures to know if this is the Truth. God has left His mark on this earth for us to have faith.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-12
There are things that will happen that are not good because the world is under the power of the evil one. Already in the Garden of Eden, Satan gave Eve the illusion that things would be better. When she tasted it and gave it to her husband, the whole world changed. Before everything was nice and good, no troubles, no worries. Before I could even think of anything, God provided. They were in harmony and they followed God. Nature was subject to Adam. God sought to make Adam even happier. "How will the young man make his path pure? By leading according to your word." (Psalm 119:9) God never intended misfortune for you. Even when you were in the depths away from Him, He came to get you. We have an amazing grace, seize it! He gives you the opportunity to be better. "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11) God did not make you barren but He said "be fruitful". He gave us dominion to be happy. "Vanity of vanities," says Ecclesiastes, "vanity of vanities, all is vanity." (Ecclesiastes 1:2) Solomon had tasted everything and he could say that so why look for trivia? Adam was happy because he was there at that place according to God's will. It was God's will. Satan did not come to Adam but to Eve. You must be like Adam. Satan could not come to Adam because he knew he could not do anything.
Ephesians 4:11-14
The truth that has been given to you works on your inside. You cannot accept anything. "I know that you cannot stand the wicked; that you have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and have found them to be liars. (Revelation 2:2)
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
"For the time will come when men will not endure sound doctrine, but, itching to hear pleasant things, will give themselves a multitude of teachers according to their own desires" (2 Timothy 4:3). When you seek the things that please you, it is according to your will. If you don't want to believe the truth, how can you have the love of the Truth?
John 8:42-43 / 1 John 4:1-6
Satan cannot have power over you. A son of God always has the attention when talking about God. How can you have the love of the Truth by satisfying yourself? When the Word of God comes with a whip, you rebel because it is not according to your will. But Adam was not like that. It was a pleasure to have fellowship with God.
When the spirit of error comes, so does doubt, and that brings anguish. "Which of you by his worries can add a cubit to the length of his life?" (Matthew 6:27) When you are not in the position that God has given you then you can worry. "Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap, nor do they gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?" (Matthew 6:26) If we're talking about Father, it means you must have a relationship with Him. "No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other; or he will cleave to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24) If I believe in God, then I know where I stand. The three Hebrews never trembled, even in the furnace. "Behold, our God whom we serve can deliver us from the fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. If not, know, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor worship the golden image that you have set up." (Daniel 3:17-18) God will work in every area of your life. Have faith in this God. He does not change. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)
