We must be certain of what we have received, what we have been taught, and what God has given us for this time. Everyone has a role to play in this age.
When we hear about Simeon, the woman with the issue of blood or Bartimaeus. In each period of time, the one who was to come into action acted as God intended. "You did not want a sacrifice or an offering, but you formed me into a body; you did not accept burnt offerings or sacrifices for sin. Then I said, 'Behold, I am coming in the scroll of the book to do your will, O God. (Hebrews 10:5-7) Christ acted because it was written of Him. This is a model for us.
"And teach them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:20) They had the same teaching. They could not bring anything else than what Christ had given. The Spirit only watches over his Word. " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:1-4) If it is the Word of God, there must be life i.e. the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit could not be missing. They stayed in the upper room to receive what was promised. The Word of transformation cannot miss its objective: It gives a new heart and a new spirit. "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
In your time too, when you are a chosen one of God, there must be a pull that draws you to Jesus. If it was like that in the past, He is doing the same thing today. God cannot do a thing without predestined men. God knows you and you are supposed to believe the Word He gives you because you are a part of the Word.
"You will have tribulation in the world; but be of good courage, I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) Man may say to himself "since God has overcome everything then He can take away the tribulations!". But God tells you that you will have tribulations... In order to get something from God, you must be able to exercise faith. The Lamb of God was slain before the foundation of the world. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) To have salvation, you must first believe. The thing is there but you have to believe that it is for you. You already have the victory, but in order for it to be manifested, you must believe.
Adam and Eve knew that there was the forbidden tree. But God could have removed the tree of knowledge so that there would be no fall. God cannot trust men who do not know what they have committed to. God made the promise to Abraham, a promise that could not be possible humanly speaking, but Abraham believed.
God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden. "The Lord God commanded the man, saying: You may eat of every tree of the garden; but you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die." (Genesis 2:16-17) God could make it so that there were no trees. We always ask the question, "Why did God allow this in my life?" We need to know God. We have to know what we are getting into. The situation is happening to you because you are following God. "Where were you when I was founding the earth? Tell me, if you have any understanding. (Job 38:4) we are only men, we cannot understand God. "Who is he that darkeneth my counsel with words without understanding?" (Job 38:2) We think we are wise, but we know nothing. "What is man, that you remember him? And the son of man, that thou art mindful of him?" (Psalm 8:4) I am not important, but he is important.
Romans 11:7-24
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8) We don't want to make our own history, but the Lord's history. "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. (Revelation 22:13) He has already made history. We must enter history and play our part. "Blessed are those who put their trust in you. They will find in their hearts paths made straight. (Psalm 84:5)
2 Peter 1:1
Preaching the Word is not for everyone. Nor is being a son of God given to everyone. If Christ has begotten us, it is certain that we will come to perfection. "The God of all grace, who called you in Christ Jesus to his eternal glory, after you have suffered a little while, will himself perfect you, strengthen you, make you steadfast." (1 Peter 5: 10) "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your heavenly Father is perfect." (Matthew 5:48) "Moreover, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is worthy of approval, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy, let this be the object of your thoughts." (Philippians 4:8)
1 John 3:1-3
It is already in you.
Ephesians 1:4
For all who belong to Him, the thing is already there. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me." (Psalm 23: 4) We need the Shepherd.
2 Peter 1:1-4
This is the same faith you received. Let us seek peace with all. Let there be no trouble where you go. Never be proud. When God gives you knowledge, it brings you to humility. You must know this Jesus to know in whom you trust. You have to be sure of your God. When you become a partaker of the divine nature, something must happen.
1 Peter 1:13-16
God expects you to be obedient. When God says something, don't make excuses, just obey. Why argue? Just comply! God does not give the Word to beat each other, but to believe. The devil knows the Bible better than you do. We don't argue with the Word of God, we believe it. Let us support each other, let us help the weakest. God does not take into account our time of ignorance. Only God can make you holy.
2 Peter 1: 4-7 / 1 Peter 1: 22
If I love my brother, my sister, where do evil thoughts come from? Problems come when suspicions come. "And because iniquity will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12) "Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied by your name? Have we not cast out demons in your name? And have we not done many miracles in your name? Then I will say to them openly, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you who commit iniquity. (Matthew 7: 22-23)
"Let no man think evil in his heart against his neighbor" (Zechariah 8:17) We have the divine nature, we cannot be double-minded with evil thoughts.
1 Thessalonians 4:1-2
Death is a sleep. You will always have your conscience and remember. When Daniel Curry went to the other side, when he ascended to the white throne, he was reminded of the facts of his life. He remembered every detail very well. "Teach us to number our days well, That we may apply our hearts to wisdom." (Psalm 90:12) We must be sure of our position and destination. The devil will always be looking to trap you. Let's be careful. Satan will always try to corner you. What can't God do for you?
God's will is for you to be holy. Satan will be circling around you to find a loophole. As long as you keep yourself pure, you are a vessel of honor, useful for service. When you stand in this position, hell will break loose against you. Let your garment be white always.
2 Peter 1:8
We must give priority to divine love. What shows that you are on the right path is the love you have for your brother and sister.
1 Corinthians 13:1-8
You cannot love God and not love your brother. Hatred has no place in the heart of a son of God. When you can't stand the person, Satan is already at work.
