You were dead through your sins

Our life on this earth does not matter much as long as we get to the other side. "(2 Corinthians 5:2) The Lord searches our hearts and minds and knows what we desire. Often our desire is for well-being on this earth. We don't think about the life that Christ has given us to serve Him.

That is why we must also teach our children to understand that it is not necessary to cling to natural things but to cling to Him who is the Author of all things. The children must also see this through our lives. This is what Abraham did with Isaac, he instilled all these things in him. Isaac saw that his father had faith in these things. He said, "My father! And he said, "Here I am, my son! Isaac said, "Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering? Abraham said, "My son, God will provide the lamb for the burnt offering. (Genesis 22:7-8) This is why Isaac allowed himself to be bound because he trusted his father and his father's God. "I have been young, I have grown old; And I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging for bread." (Psalm 37:25) We must teach our posterity that the God we serve will never abandon us. You let your children do it and you say you love them! You let your children dress like prostitutes, you offer them to Satan. The most precious thing is to know Him. As long as you cling to Him, He will take care of you and your offspring.

We often want God to do what we want, but do we seek to do God's Will? If our desire is to do what God wants then He will act. When you are like that then God will give you what your heart desires. Never bargain with God! The world must see Christ through you. Christ lives and He lives in you.

Colossians 2:8

Paul seeks to show the position in which these people find themselves and the visitation that God has wrought among them.

Colossians 1:1-5

These are the same expressions as in the other churches where Paul preached, that is, they received the same thing. To have the love of the saints, there must be something that goes into you. There has to be a cleansing in you for God to enter. When God comes to dwell in you through the Holy Spirit then it is the Love of God. The Love of God is manifested in Jesus Christ! That is why at Pentecost, when they realized what Christ had done for man and for his forgiveness, they were touched and wanted to do something. So Peter told them to repent.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim a year of the Lord's favor." (Luke 4:18-19) The Good News is Himself. We are always reminded of what God has done to make us true Christians. When God begins a work, He always completes it because what God does is always perfect. This is what God does with us.

When a child is born, it is left to learn how to walk, but after a while he must learn how to run. It is the same with walking with Christ. Jesus wants to put you on the path. God has to pick you up first, that's grace. Never forget where you came from and where God picked you up. When you stay like this then you always remember God's love and His love for you does not change. Every day the love of God must increase in your heart. If I die today, I will go to heaven for free.

Paul is talking about true believers who believe in the word and never argue. It is a faith that never doubts because it is the gift of God. We cannot love unless God has poured his love into us. God must first do the work in you.

Ephesians 2:11-13

We had nothing but when God came on the scene then everything changed, there was a change in us.

Ephesians 2:19

Paul also shows the journey we have been through. The God of Abraham was not our God, but he shows us how we came to salvation. This is possible through the preaching of the Word. To receive this, it had to be preached to us.

Colossians 2:8

That is why we must be careful what we hear. Never forget the foundation that made you who you are today. If there is no life in the Word that is proclaimed, it can never change you.

1 Thessalonians 2:13

If God sent Paul, this man of God, it is because he has the Word of God.

2 Corinthians 4:3-5 / Galatians 1:1-12

Jesus our Lord called him to preach the Word of God. When God speaks, it is not the Word of a man but of God. It is that this Jesus that the Colossians and Ephesians heard about, it is He who has the ability to change a man. Through Paul, the Colossians saw Jesus Christ.

True men of God are only microphones. We do not pay attention to the microphones but to the Word of God. Just say the words that God has given you and the people who belong to God will respect you. God watches over his people, that's why he places men to lead his people. "(Romans 3:4) This is why we need to hear from the Holy Spirit, not from man. For a man to truly love others, he must be dead to himself. But there are not many who like to die. When you are dead to yourself, you will not be loved much. When you are really dead, if somebody insults you, what are you going to do? You are already dead... You can hit a dead person, he will not move. You talk but you don't live what you say. When the soldier slapped Jesus, He didn't say anything. If we don't get to that, where will we go?

Colossians 2:8-9

We need Jesus because everything we could ever want on earth and in heaven is in Him.

Colossians 1:15-16

Everything is true in Him. And if He is in you, then you have everything. Jesus can give you everything. Everything you desire but you desire wrong. God gives you for your good.
