Hebrews 13: 12-14“Wherefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Let us therefore go forth unto Him outside the camp, bearing His disgrace. For we have not here an abiding city, but we seek after the city which is to come.”
The Lord works in a particular manner with those who belong to Him. We were already in God because Jesus prayed in that sense.
Revelations 13: 7-8“And it was given unto Him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, every one whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain.”
All whose names are written in the book of the Lamb belong to the Lamb.
Romans 8: 9-13 “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”
In Adam was the male spirit and the female spirit. Eve was taken from Adam, she was then a part of him. It is the same thing here. If you do not have the Spirit of God, you can not belong to Him. When we have the Spirit of God, we have a new nature. Like Paul, we can now say:" it is no longer me who lives, but it is Christ who lives within me". This is why we are called Christians, the life of Christ is reflected through us. Human beings cannot comprehend spiritual men. When a spiritual man is grabbed by the Spirit of God, he acts leaded by the Spirit of God. The spiritual man is leaded by the Spirit whereas the natural man is unable to see. The spiritual man is in communion with God.
1 John 1: 3-4“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you also, that ye also may have fellowship with us: yea, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with His son Jesus Christ.”
To have a true communion at church, I must first be in communion with God. When the Spirit acts, so do I.
Luke 2: 25-26“And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simon; and this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.”
Simon was in communion with God. It is that communion that guides a son of God. Obedience is better than sacrifices. When the Spirit of God talks to you, corrects you, you should glorify Him with all your heart because God loves you and shows it to you. As God was speaking in parables for the Pharisees not to understand His word, but He revealed this same word to His disciples. Again, today God speaks to His children, so we should listen to Him and obey His word.
