The free gift of God

"What is man, that you should remember him? And the son of man, that you care for him?" (Psalm 8:4) God owes us nothing, but I recognize that without Him, I can do nothing. I come to Him because He is necessary for me. Coming to Christ is my survival.

Man seeks happiness in material things, in bricks. Vanity of vanities," says Ecclesiastes, "vanity of vanities, all is vanity. (Ecclesiastes 1:2) Could it be women who can make man happy? It was Solomon himself who said this, the one who had 1,000 wives. "Consider how the lilies grow: they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of them." (Luke 12:27) Solomon had all this, but he never asked for it. When you care for God and seek Him, then He gives you all this.

When the spirit returns to God and your body goes into the coffin, all that you have done is useless. "I came forth naked from my mother's womb, and naked I shall return to the bosom of the earth. (Job 1:21) While there is time, let's take the time to draw near to God. On earth, don't be embarrassed by all this but serve God: that is wealth. I came alone and poor, but I leave with Christ and rich.

God does all things so that we can be reassured in our walk. We don't walk with the "is it" because it is not good to be unsure. God wants us to be sure of Him. When we pray, we call Him our Father. "And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, who calls out: Abba! Father!" (Galatians 4:6) God is not an object of worship but He is our Father. If we don't have this assurance in our hearts, then whatever we do, we don't know very well why we do it. "The Spirit himself bears witness to our spirit that we are children of God. (Romans 8:16) When you have that assurance, trials may come, it may move left or right, but I know the goal, I'm going to reach it.

Question from Brother Abed: Bro. Branham said that you can have the Holy Spirit and still be lost. He also said that Balaam had the same spirit as Moses. Does that confuse me?

If it is the prophet who said it, then why be troubled? A branhamist cannot be troubled because the prophet said. It is there that we see that branhamism is a demon. One does not trust in God but in man. When the Truth is in the person, when we hear something that is not in conformity, it does not pass. Our absolute is not a man but the Word of God. Even if a prophet prophesies, we always bring him back to the Holy Scriptures. What do the Scriptures say? What did God say? "I am the way, the truth, and the life." (John 14:6) If we are on this path, we will never be led astray. Jesus Christ is the way, Jesus Christ is the Word, so let us follow the way by the Holy Scriptures.

A son of the evil one can never have the Holy Spirit. A son of the evil one can never experience the new birth. When you are born again, you are born of the Spirit. Now, there is only one Spirit. Only the one who was in Christ before the foundation of the world can be born again. We return to our original condition. Judas could not experience the new birth. "You shall be holy, for I am holy. (1 Peter 1:16) God sanctifies His children. How can you expect God to sanctify those who do not have the same nature as Him? Judas could not be holy. You can't sanctify a demon!

You know Moses, you know how God used him. Moses did not know how to speak, it was God who taught him. "See, I have made you a God for Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet. (Exodus 7:1) And now see how God testifies about Balaam.

Revelation 2:12-14 / 2 Peter 1:12-15

How can Balaam have the same spirit as Moses? There is good grass and bad grass, but the rain falls on both. The Word of God cannot change you! Cain could never become a son of God. You were born in sin, but your nature was not in that. The Word comes to bring you back to your original position. The rain is the Holy Spirit. The son of God is like the good soil. The son of the evil one is like the stone. The Word of God is a seed. The rain that falls on the stone has the same power and authority, but it cannot do anything because it does not penetrate. But when it falls on the earth, it enters and waters the earth. Then the earth produces fruit.

The Holy Spirit descends into the soul of the Son of God. Whereas it is the anointing that comes upon the son of the evil one. The anointing is not the Holy Spirit. In spite of the anointing, the fruits they produce are not good. Those who say they have the Holy Spirit, watch them! Take the person in question and you will see how he will react. The son of the evil one can never have the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 13:1-3

The Lord is the Word. You must always bring it back to the Word of God.
