And we declare unto you glad tidings...

"Blessed are you, Simon, Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:17-18) Only the Word of God can be fulfilled. When God speaks, the thing must be fulfilled.

God watches over His Word and it is He who reveals it. "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God; but to the rest it is spoken in parables, so that when they see they do not see, and when they hear they do not understand. (Luke 8:10) God does not leave you alone but He has given you the Holy Spirit. "When the Comforter comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you into all truth" (John 16:13).

Acts 13:26-33

Here Paul testifies to the Jews, to those who received the promises made to Abraham. God had made a choice about the people of Israel. He had made a promise to Abraham to take care of his descendants. When God promises, He does. God takes care of you and your offspring, even when you are no longer around simply because of the love you have for Him. "I have been young, I have grown old, and I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread. (Psalm 37:25) The Lord knows that your children are important to you. Abraham went in peace because he knew God would take care of him. David also went in peace. "Your house and your kingdom shall be secure forever; your throne shall be established forever." (2 Samuel 7:16)

It is to these people that Paul speaks. God had promised: "I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren, and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him." (Deuteronomy 18:18) Moses led the people out but he did not know the way. But there was the pillar of fire to lead them. Despite all the miracles God had done, the people murmured. God became angry and wanted to destroy the people. God had opened the Red Sea for God's people to pass through, but He left the passage open so that Pharaoh's army could enter and be destroyed. God knows very well what he is doing. Pharaoh could have wondered, but anger blinded him. God had proven to Pharaoh that He was God. God's people were stuck, but they saw the sea open. There is no one who can stop you from doing what God has told you to do. The whole army was swallowed up. Pharaoh's reasoning was blocked. We are a different people. We are not the same. "Come out of her, my people" (Revelation 18:4) "Who among you is of her people? Let his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the house of the Lord, the God of Israel!" (Ezra 1:3) "Simon told how God first looked upon the nations to choose from among them a people to bear his name." (Acts 15:14) When God has made His choice and He is with you, things are different. The Red Sea recognized that this people was different. The Sea could have swallowed them up but it could not. A choice was made with the blood on the lintels, they made a covenant. If a Jew had not put the blood on, he would have died because He had said, "The blood shall be a sign to you on the houses where you are; I will see the blood, and I will pass over you, and there shall not be a plague to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt." (Exodus 12:13) God walked with his people, nature had to obey. But Pharaoh and his army had nothing to do with God, so the sea swallowed them up.

As children of God, you need not fear anyone. "(Numbers 23:23) Jacob was God's choice just as you are God's choice.

"And that they all drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank from a spiritual rock that followed them, and that rock was Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4) But most of them died in the desert because they were not pleasing to God. They came to Kadesh-Barnea, the spies visited the land. When they returned, they confirmed what God had said. Even if you do not see, believe in what God tells you because it is the truth. City of pearls and lights, you have not seen it but God has told you and it will be exactly like that. The "but" has come. When you are prayed for and you put the "but" in, your healing is gone. Healing comes by faith but when you put the "but" in, it's gone. Your faith produces healing. They looked at the sons of Anak, we are like locusts, they didn't feel able. But there was another group. If God brings out a word, there will always be a group to believe that word. Our Lord cannot deny you healing or deliverance. "And by his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5) Each of you can receive healing, no matter how sick you are! If God does not heal, He is not God. He has never failed. What is the disease that God cannot heal?

The Bible is the exact truth. Even the future diseases, He has already provided. I have been inoculated by God. He is the Alpha and Omega. Your problems of today and even tomorrow, He has already solved. Before we could even be in circumstances, God had already provided. Before you were even born, God knew you. God has not forgotten your healing, your deliverance. Rejoice. Have faith in God. When you go through the trial, God is watching you. If only you could think that God is watching you. Before the three Hebrews faced the furnace, God knew. They were in the right condition. Always remember what God has done.

Moses didn't know the way, but it was the pillar that led. God had made a path for God's people. Nothing can escape God. Moses was only subject to the pillar of fire. As long as you follow God, you are safe. "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should do them." (Ephesians 2:10) When God placed you in this world, He did not forget anything. When God saved you, He could never lose you. You must experience salvation. When Zacchaeus was on the sycamore tree, Jesus passed by because Zacchaeus was there. When He passed by the woman with the blood loss, He knew why. And Jesus said, "Who touched me? And when they all defended themselves, Peter and those who were with him said, "Teacher, the crowd surrounds you and presses you, and you say, 'Who touched me? But Jesus answered, "Someone touched me, for I knew that power had gone out of me. (Luke 8:45-46) Jesus is good. On this road, Jesus was not dealing with the crowd, but there was Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus climbs the tree to see Jesus. Depth calls for depth. "Zacchaeus, make haste to come down; for I must stay in your house today." (Luke 19:5) He knows His sheep by name. No one had told Him about Zacchaeus. God grants deliverance, God grants healing.
